Collegium Marianum and Patricia Janečková at the Lednice-Valtice Music Festival

On October 10, 2021, a concert by the ensemble Collegium Marianum and soprano Patricia Janečková took place in the neo-Gothic Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Břeclav-Poštorná as part of the Lednice-Valtice Music Festival.

You can view the recording of Vivaldi’s Salve Regina in F Major by clicking on the video link on this page.

The programme presented Antonio Vivaldi in the “competition” of his Italian contemporaries and the disciple František Jiránek, whose Concerto in C major for Oboe, Strings and Basso Continuo adapted for flute traverso will be performed in a modern world premiere.

Another highlight of this programme was Vivaldi’s aria Eja voce sonora læti cantate RV Anh 59.29, which was discovered in 2020 by Eduardo García Salas, the Spanish violinist, and musicologist, in the Czech archives.
