The concert itself was a source of such delightful feelings that one wished it could have lasted forever.

There are few orchestras that specialise in early music that can be said to have their own distinctive and unmistakable sound.

As for the musical performance, it characteristically aspired to perfection.

Semerádová, who is not only a truly excellent flautist but also a tireless organiser and researcher, came up with a refreshing concept.

The ensemble Collegium Marianum now performs at such a consistently high level that you will never be disappointed.

It is probably unnecessary to emphasise that this is an ensemble of rare balance and artistic integrity among Czech and European performers. The harmony that can be heard on the recording is among the very best in the field of early music. 

I am personally glad that there is an ensemble in the Czech Republic that has for a long time, both conceptually and at the highest possible level in our country, devoted itself to the various facets of French baroque music.
