BAROQUE SOIRÉES

AUTUMN SERIES 2023

The opening concert of the autumn series of Baroque Soirées takes the audience into the salons of Paris. Georg Philipp Telemann, to whom this year's edition is dedicated, worked in Paris for some time. His musical compositions were heavily inspired by French music. The second, chamber concert offers to the audience an insight into the virtuosity of the repertoire for Baroque traverso flute, lute and viola da gamba. The Christmas concert will present the Telemann's joyful Magnificat and contemplative Christmas cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach.
